Versions: SQL Server 2008, 2005, 2000, 7.0 and 6.5

Syntax BIT
Data Boolean data
Range 0, 1 and NULL. String value 'true' is converted to 1 and 'false' is converted to 0
Error Handling Values other than 0 and 1 are accepted but are always interpreted as 1
Storage Size 1 byte for up to 8 bit columns
