If you are using the ODBC connection for the Oracle database, e.g. you are using Oracle as the source database in SQLWays, you need first to specify the “TNS Service Name” and then use this name for the ODBC driver configuration.

If you are going to connect to Oracle using only native tools of this database, e.g. you are using Oracle as the target database in SQLWays, then “TNS Service Name” configuration is enough.
