How to Use SQLWays Wizard in Expert Mode
The latest version of the tool can be used in two modes - Default mode and Expert mode.
Default and Expert Modes
In the Default mode of the tool you can use and specify limited set of options that are necessary to run the migration process. All the additional options that help to tune the migration process in an individual way are hidden.
Expert mode shows all the options in graphical user interface version. It also allows to use options that will help you to tune some specific cases and features that are required only for your migration process.
How to Switch on Expert Mode
So to use the tool in Expert mode you need to click on the icon in the left upper corner and check the “Expert Mode” option. Like it is done on the screenshot:

For example, the “Specify DDL and Data Options” page in Default mode is quite simple with no options:

Recommendations
We recommend to use the tool in default mode!
So only if you need to use some specific features of the tool or have some peculiar requirements in your migration project, and you are sure that a required option can be found in Expert mode, then use Expert mode in SQLWays Wizard tool.
