Symptoms

During the export of tables from PostgreSQL database through the ODBC connection the following message arises: “There are no columns in the result set”.

Cause

PostgreSQL ODBC DSN is not properly tuned on your PC.

Solution

Please, in the ODBC Administrator open the ODBC DSN that you use to connect to the PostgreSQL database, click the “Datasource” button and on “Advanced Options” page check the option “Use Declare/Fetch” in your PostgreSQL driver, like it is specified in the picture below:
