Sybase SQL Anywhere ODBC Driver Configuration

After installing the Sybase SQL Anywhere client on your Windows system, you need to tune the ODBC connection to the server and the database required.

For this purpose in the “ODBC Administrator” you need to go to the “System DSN” tab and click on the “Add…” button.

In the “Create New Data Source” window, please, choose the Sybase SQL Anywhere driver, like the one in the picture below:

Please, specify the connection information like the “Data Source Name” on the “ODBC” tab and login information on the “Login” tab:

Connection information:

After specifying the ODBC connection you will need to test the connection using the “Test Connection” button on the “ODBC” tab:

And after that you will be able to see the DSN name in the SQLWays Wizard, like in the picture below:

Please use this DSN for your connection.
