Installation Requirements
If you use MnMTK to migrate databases, it is not required to install MnMTK on the same computer where the target or source databases are located. MnMTK can be installed on any computer which meets the software and hardware requirements and has a corresponding network connection to the location of databases or files that are being migrated in the case the toolkit is installed on another computer
Software Requirements

- Windows 11
- Windows 10
- Windows Server 2022
- Windows Server 2019
For database migration using MnMTK the following items are needed:
- Database client software
- ODBC-driver (for source databases only)
If you are using Ispirer Migration Studio please note that it requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 (or later) to be installed. If the framework is not installed you will be asked to do that at the first launch of the Studio.
Hardware Requirements

At least 500 MB of free space in the installation location for MnMTK (additional space required for export files, its volume defined by the volume of the information exported from the source database).
Ensure administrator-level rights
You must have administrator rights to install MnMTK on a Windows Operating System.
Verify Compatibility of Vendor Databases
Check the chapters Supported Source Databases and Supported Target Databases to ensure that MnMTK supports the database you are going to migrate.
